MST SYSTEMS is a creative software media company providing the complete television broadcast graphics service to live televised sporting events. Our work on Golf, Basketball, sports and entertainment coverage is seen around the world. MST SYSTEMS provides services to live TV productions of all sizes, including premier events such as The Ryder Cup, The Open Championship and Euroleague Basketball Final 4.

As both an on-site and remote production role, you will be required to operate graphics systems for live television productions from sites worldwide. You will be a team player, working to set up, configure, test, troubleshoot and operate MST’s broadcast graphics systems. This role is open to entry-level candidates looking to start work in live sports television and experienced operators alike. Data and statistics will play a significant part of the role when operating live graphics.

As part of our Golf team, a good knowledge of Golf is a must as you will be working on operating our data-driven broadcast system for Golf across European, Asian and South African events. International travel including weekend work is required, with typically 25+ weeks of the year being worked away from home.

Duties
  • Operate and assist in MST’s service to Golf productions
  • Deploy, setup, configure, rig and de-rig broadcast graphics equipment
  • Operate bespoke MST data interfaces for graphics engines
  • Operate (or learn to operate) industry standard CG Engines such as Verso Live, Unreal Engine, Chyron and Viz alongside bespoke systems
  • Operate Golf ball-tracing systems for live broadcast
  • Troubleshoot both technical and operational issues on-site
Skills and Experience
