Shift patterns include:
- Days 07.30 – Mon-Thurs – Fridays
- Nights 21.00 – Mon-Wed – Thurs

The Role
We have a requirement for a time served Welder/Fabricator, with a minimum of two years post apprentice experience. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will be responsible for repairing/re-building/manufacturing from new, a range of ground engaging buckets and attachments. Experienced in the use of general hand tools and oxy/acetylene cutting equipment, able to weld down hand multi run fillets (will be given a basic weld test) and a current crane certificate is preferred but not essential. Fabricate/Welding of earth moving attachments using 1.2mm bare wire MIG welding processes. Multi run welding required and working on plate thicknesses 6mm – 200mm. Training will be given on the job until fully confident and quality achieved.
Applicant requirements
- Relevant experience as a Fabricator along with the ability to weld your own work within a heavy plant environment.
- OXY-Fuel Burning, chamfering, gouging.
- Experience using power tools and pneumatic tools.
- Experienced using overhead cranes.
- Strong understanding of various welding procedures and health and safety awareness paramount.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Fork lift licence advantageous but not necessary.
**Not all compulsory, some training & guidance can be provided.
