The position will initially focus on patrolling and frontline security duties, with structured upskilling and paid training to transition into CRO and AHDO responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct foot patrols across university campuses (indoor and outdoor)
  • Lock and unlock buildings and facilities as required
  • Provide directions and assistance to students, staff, and visitors
  • Monitor systems and support control room operations
  • Respond to incidents and complete detailed reports
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders
  • Manage visitor sign-ins, inductions, and key registers
  • Issue and track key passes
About You

We are looking for reliable and technically strong candidates who can manage multiple priorities and are confident working in a dynamic university environment.

To be successful, you will have:
  • Certificate II in Security Operations
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Valid NSW Security Licence
  • Previous Control Room experience (essential)
  • Current Working With Children Check (paid)
  • Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn systems and procedures
  • Excellent communication skills and professional approach
  • High level of reliability, integrity, and attention to detail
  • Physical fitness with the ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Good computer literacy skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
