The Supply Chain Process Specialist is responsible for supporting and driving process standardisation, system effectiveness and continuous improvement across MSS International's global supply chain, with a particular focus on customer service, purchasing, inventory management, sales order management, warehousing, logistics and planning. The role acts as a key business user and process specialist, ensuring that supply chain processes are clearly mapped and documented, consistently applied, and supported by accurate system parameters and master data.

The Specialist works closely with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Finance, IT and warehouse teams to translate operational requirements into practical processes and system functionality, resolve process gaps, and support a single, standard way of working across MSS locations. This is a hands-on role combining practical Customer Service knowledge, process improvement, D365 BC support, documentation and training.

The role will make particular use of established customer and operational knowledge to strengthen Customer Long-Term Contract (LTC) governance, maintain associated supply chain parameters in D365 BC, and support MSS's wider operational excellence agenda.

  • Customer LTC & Supply Chain Parameter Governance
  • Review and maintain Customer Long-Term Contracts (LTCs), ensuring that agreed customer requirements, call-off arrangements and supply chain commitments are accurately reflected in D365 BC.
  • Review and maintain the supply chain parameters associated with Customer LTCs in D365 BC, including relevant replenishment, inventory, planning and fulfilment settings, in collaboration with the appropriate Supply Chain and Customer Service stakeholders.
  • Map and maintain current-state and future-state supply chain processes across Customer Service, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Sales Order Management, Warehousing, Logistics and Planning, clearly identifying roles, system steps, controls, hand-offs and improvement opportunities.
  • Support and maintain supply chain master data and operating parameters within D365 BC, ensuring that information used for planning, inventory and customer fulfilment is accurate, current and consistently governed.
  • Develop clear, practical D365 BC user guides, process-based training materials and step-by-step instructions, and support or deliver training to users as required.
  • Reporting & Data Support
  • Support the production of supply chain reporting, including inventory valuation, slow moving and non-moving inventory, and open order book.
  • Ensure data integrity across D365 and connected reporting tools, escalating and resolving data quality issues.
  • Supply Chain Projects
  • Support the Global Supply Chain Director on strategic and operational improvement projects, including D365 optimisation and rollout, inventory optimisation, warehouse and logistics improvements, customer service process improvements, and process automation initiatives.

Excellent Microsoft Excel skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop practical training documentation and train or support users with varying levels of D365 BC experience. Practical Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience, ideally across customer service, sales order processing and wider supply chain processes. Strong communicator and confident training and supporting other users.
