Role Overview

We are in need of a Business Development Associate – Turkish Speaking who will play a crucial role in driving our firm's growth. This role is heavily sales-oriented, with 85% dedicated to sales activities and 15% focused on independent marketing efforts. The primary responsibility will be to discover and pursue new prospective clients, build strong relationships, negotiate, and finalise agreements with them.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Sales-Focused Responsibilities (85%)
    • Serve clients by selling legal services and meeting their legal consultation needs, aiming to achieve monthly sales targets.
    • Develop and implement sales and business development plans to convert inquiries into paying clients and identify new key audiences.
    • Build a network of clients by following up on inquiries and establishing rapport to generate business.
    • Represent the firm as the initial point of contact between clients and legal staff, maintaining relationships throughout the process.
    • Monitor competitors’ activity and perform market research to inform sales strategies and marketing actions.
    • Identify and pursue new methods and channels for client acquisition and promotion, seeking cost-effective options.
    • Provide sales and business development advice and translation services to internal departments as needed.
    • Ensure that all client interactions are conducted professionally and with the goal of converting prospects into clients.
  • Marketing Responsibilities (15%)
    • Produce fresh content for social media channels, coordinating with business development and external teams.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sales and marketing plans, making recommendations for improvements.
    • Assist with translation work between lawyers and clients to facilitate clear communication without barriers.
    • Help maintain the firm’s corporate image and branding across all communication channels.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years of experience in sales, with a strong focus on client acquisition and relationship building.
  • Open-minded, willing to work with diverse people, and possessing genuine interest and empathy.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Thorough understanding of sales and negotiation techniques.
  • Ability to source and acquire clients independently.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Aptitude for delivering engaging presentations.
  • Ability to understand legal terms and processes to communicate them effectively to clients.
  • Law firm experience is preferable but not mandatory.
