The Role
We are currently recruiting for a skilled Refrigeration Engineer based near Peterborough. This is a varied role combining workshop-based work with field service responsibilities.
You will be responsible for carrying out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI), compressor changes, and supporting on-site service and maintenance across a range of refrigeration systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) on refrigeration units
- Perform compressor changes and associated repairs in the workshop
- Attend customer sites to complete service, maintenance, and fault finding
- Diagnose and repair refrigeration system faults efficiently
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with industry regulations
- Complete relevant paperwork and reports for all work carried out
- Provide excellent customer service when on-site
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Refrigeration Engineer
- Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and components
- Experience with compressor replacements and system diagnostics
- F-Gas qualification (essential)
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
