Msquare Architects Ltd, located in Market Harborough, Leicestershire, provide a comprehensive range of professional architectural services to both private and corporate clients. Working across the Midlands, we specialise in residential design and carry out a range of projects including one-off homes for individual clients up to residential developments for 30+ homes, along with some commercial projects. Msquare Architects are committed to adding value at every stage of the design and procurement process. We are currently expanding and looking for a self-motivated individual who is keen to expand their skills and knowledge to progress their career in Architecture.
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Architect/Architectural Technologist based in Market Harborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Architectural design development
- Preparing and managing construction documentation
- Overseeing project construction
- Collaborating with teams and clients on design and project execution
- Engaging with clients
- Coordinating with consultants
- Ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget
The highly competitive salary will reflect the experience and the level of responsibility that the successful candidate is capable of taking on. We also offer Flexitime, 23 days holiday per annum rising to 25 with service, a company pension, and a friendly non-smoking office environment plus free town centre parking.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in the residential sector, along with some commercial design experience.
- Strong technical skills with exposure to all RIBA stages of work.
- Working knowledge and experience of UK Planning and Building Regulations.
- Good communication skills to deal with clients, colleagues, suppliers, statutory bodies and contractors.
- Experience in AutoCAD is essential, and a familiarity with Sketch Up and Photoshop would be desirable.
- Full clean driving licence and own transport.
