Exciting Finance Manager opportunity with a successful and robust Leicester-based construction business whose growth over the past 30+ years has been unparalleled, with phenomenal projected growth. This Finance Manager opportunity will be part of a strong Leadership team, being pivotal to the growth of the business.
My client is looking for someone to take full responsibility for:
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
- Cashflow forecasting and monitoring
- Assessing existing processes and controls, identifying gaps, and building them out properly
- Documenting what good looks like and making it stick
- Working with COINS Finance (training and support available)
- Reporting to the MD and working closely with the fractional Finance Director
Candidates must be qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or part-qualified / QBE with substantial hands-on experience. Successful candidates must demonstrate:
- Strong management accounts background. You need to be able to own month-end from day one
- Experience in construction, contracting, or a project-based environment is a strong advantage
- COINS Finance experience is desirable but not essential. Support on the system will be provided
- Significant experience building or formalising finance functions in a growing business. You will know what good looks like and how to get there
- Comfortable working directly with senior stakeholders with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, having the gravitas to hit the ground running.
