My client is a well‑established and rapidly growing business with over 10 years of experience working with international clients. As they continue to expand their presence in the UK market, they are seeking a dedicated and skilled 2nd Line Service Desk Analyst to join their dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support
- Deliver outstanding customer service through effective ticket management.
- Work collaboratively on customer sites, integrating seamlessly with the existing IT team.
- Utilise Remote Monitoring Tools for proactive maintenance and support.
- Respond efficiently to customer requests and enquiries, adhering to agreed timescales and escalation procedures.
- Create and update technical documentation, advising clients on IT updates and changes.
- Troubleshoot and maintain infrastructure, including laptops, workstations, servers, and networking equipment.
- Proven 2nd line experience in a Service Desk environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Understand and adhere to agreed timescales, recognise the need for escalation, and demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills.
- Hands‑on experience with Office 365 Cloud services (Email, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive).
- Experience with backup solutions and a solid understanding of networking fundamentals.
- Own a car for travel to datacentres and client locations.
- Confidence in communicating with diverse audiences and third‑party vendors.
- Experience with public cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure).
- Knowledge of switches, firewalls, and routers.
- Ability to document third‑party applications and support service providers
