An established and growing IT services organisation is seeking a Technical Services & Warehouse Manager to lead its warehouse operations and technical services function. This is a hands‑on leadership role, responsible for ensuring efficient processes, high service standards, and strong team performance. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you’ll play a key role in driving operational excellence, improving workflows, and supporting customer delivery across logistics, repairs, and technical services.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering a high-quality service experience through effective management of warehouse operations and technical support activities.
- Managing technical support queries and contributing to bid support where required.
- Overseeing stock allocation, dispatch, and overall warehouse efficiency.
- Optimising warehouse processes and maintaining accurate inventory control.
- Monitoring and updating customer systems with relevant service data.
- Managing returns processes, including Proof of Delivery (POD) updates within internal systems.
- Triaging returned equipment and coordinating repair workflows.
- Staging and configuring IT hardware for deployment.
- Maintaining tools, test equipment, and technical resources.
- Conducting diagnostics and testing across a range of IT and network devices.
- Leading, developing, and managing a team, including training plans and performance reviews.
- Supporting projects involving stock management, warranties, and RMA processes.
- Ensuring smooth day‑to‑day team operations.
Additional Responsibilities
- Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Demonstrating flexibility to support wider business needs.
- Identifying and addressing ongoing training and development requirements.
Skills & Experience

- Experience with IT hardware staging and configuration (builds, deployment readiness, etc.).
- High level of IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and internal systems.
- Ability to manage and prioritise a busy workload effectively.
- Comfortable working under pressure while maintaining high standards.
- Experience within an RMA or returns‑based environment is advantageous.
- Proven experience in warehouse management, including stock control and process optimisation.
