IT Services Engineer

Β£37,500 - Β£40,000 | Bucks, Berks, Oxon, London & the South East | Field-based (Home, Office & Customer Sites)

We're working with a well-established provider in the managed print and telecoms space to find a Professional Services Engineer to join their delivery team.
/n
This is a hybrid technical role split between telecoms installation projects and broader IT/print support β a great fit for someone who enjoys variety and wants to build skills across both disciplines rather than sitting in one lane.
/n
What you'll be doing:
/n
/n
- Acting as first point of contact for installation planning, liaising directly with customer IT teams to build out implementation plans
/n
- Managing your own projects β defining requirements, working with account managers and customers, and overseeing delivery through to completion
/n
- Carrying out site surveys and building/implementing telecoms installations
/n
- Supporting the wider IT stack β diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
/n
- Logging and tracking work accurately through the service management system
/n
- Escalating complex issues to management or specialist teams where needed
/n
- Contributing to knowledge base documentation, particularly around print solution software
/n
- Keeping relevant solutions certifications current
/n

What they're looking for:

- Solid understanding of IT systems β Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Azure
/n
- Exposure to print solution software such as Papercut, MyQ, Optimidoc, or Uniflow is a strong plus
/n
- Some grounding in telecoms/VOIP
/n
- Comfortable working within a ticketing system (Vantage, ServiceNow, Zendesk, Freshdesk or similar)
/n
- A genuinely strong communicator β someone who can explain technical things simply to non-technical people
/n
- Organised, self-sufficient, and calm when things get busy
/n
