If you're someone who takes pride in a first-time fix, enjoys working across a diverse client base, and wants to keep developing your skills in a supportive environment β€” this is worth a look. • Implementing complex resolutions within SLA β€” zero-trust and least privilege at the forefront
  • Monitoring, triaging and responding to security alerts using Microsoft Sentinel and the M365 Defender suite
  • Supporting Cyber Essentials+ compliance β€” evidence collection, remediation tracking and controls implementation
  • Managing patch compliance across endpoints and servers and driving remediation to agreed targets
  • Supporting Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning including backup/restore testing and documentation
  • Working with senior engineers to identify recurring incidents and implement long-term fixes
  • Supporting change management aligned to ITIL best practice

Technologies you'll need experience with:

  • Microsoft 365 β€” Admin, Security, Compliance, Exchange and GDAP
  • Microsoft Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR) and incident triage/response
  • Microsoft 365 Defender β€” Defender for Endpoint and Defender for Office 365
  • Microsoft Entra & Intune β€” Conditional Access, LAPS, Configuration Policies
  • Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP
  • Hyper-V and failover clustering
  • SAN/NAS β€” iSCSI, LUN, MPIO

  • Patch management and compliance tooling for endpoints and servers
  • Backup and DR/BCP β€” restore validation, DR testing, documentation
  • MDT / WDS
  • Awareness of Cyber Essentials+ requirements and practical controls

What we're looking for:

  • Solid hands-on experience resolving IT problems across a range of environments
  • Strong attention to detail β€” someone who gets it right first time
  • Self-motivated and proactive β€” training is available but self-learning is essential
  • Microsoft qualifications are beneficial but not required
  • Full UK driving licence (clean) and own vehicle β€” essential

What's on offer:

  • Yearly bonus
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Casual dress, company events, pension
