Main Purpose of Job: To deliver high-quality fabric maintenance, repair, and installation services while ensuring safety, compliance, and excellent customer care.
Carry out a wide range of fabric maintenance and repair tasks (e.g., carpentry, painting, tiling, plastering, flooring, glazing, fencing, brickwork). Complete installations and inspections as required. Fault find and rectify issues across fabric-related works. Maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, clients, and customers. Communicate clearly with customers, line management, and office support staff. Provide courteous and professional service to uphold the company’s reputation. Demonstrate commitment to customer care at all times.
- Fire door repairs and inspections.
- Plasterboard and sanitary ware repairs.
- Lock fitting and repairs.
- Building and repairing furniture.
- Guttering maintenance and repairs.
- Safe use of plant and equipment.
- Work at height, including use of access equipment (IPAF/PASMA desirable).
- Willingness to travel to various locations.
Administration/Reports: Comply with company policies and safety rules. Maintain records of completed works as required. Ensure company vehicle is driven responsibly and in line with the Highway Code. Cooperate with line managers and comply with statutory provisions or site rules.
Minimum of 4 years’ practical experience.
