M-Sport UK is a world-leading motorsport engineering company responsible for designing, building, and running championship-winning rally cars competing at the highest levels of international motorsport, including the FIA World Rally Championship and World Rally Raid Championship.
We’re now seeking a skilled and motivated Hydraulics Technician to join our Hydraulics Department.
This role will support the build, maintenance, and development of hydraulic systems and components used across our competition cars.
The role and responsibilities include
- Building and set-up of hydraulic components including brake callipers, dampers, power steering systems, and hydraulic pumps.
- Servicing and rebuilding all hydraulic components.
- Working closely with our Hydraulics Supervisor and Engineers on technical issues identified and suggestions for improvement.
- Liaising with the Engineering Department to operate the in-house dyno facilities and ensure all competition cars are built to the required specification.
- Responsible to keep all build documents filled and up to date.

- Strong understanding of hydraulic principles, components, and fault-finding techniques.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Skilled in multitasking and prioritising workloads in a time sensitive environment.
- Excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for problem solving.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
Preferred Experience
- Previous experience working with hydraulic systems and components is desirable.
- Previous experience in motorsport or high-performance automotive.
