We are looking for hardworking and reliable Grounds worker to join our growing construction team working on a variety of projects across Northern Ireland.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in groundworks and civil engineering who take pride in delivering high-quality work in a safe and professional manner.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Groundsworker, you’ll play a key role in preparing sites and carrying out a wide range of groundworks, including:
- Excavation and site preparation.
- Installing drainage systems, manholes, and underground services.
- Laying kerbs, paving, block paving, and concrete.
- Trenching, backfilling, and reinstatement works.
- Reading site drawings and following instructions from supervisors.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area.
- Working collaboratively with site managers, engineers, and other trades.
- Following all health and safety procedures and company policies.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in construction groundworks.
- A strong understanding of safe working practices.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Ability to carry out physically demanding work.
- Full UK driving licence (preferred).
- Valid CSR card.
- Experience in drainage, kerbing, paving, and concreting.
