The Supply Chain Leads will play a key role in deepening the ClarusONE understanding of the generic pharmaceutical supply chain to ensure continuous supply of generics while optimising service levels across the supply chain ecosystem. This role will work cross-functionally and bridge the supplier-facing teams and Member Engagement to drive operational excellence and mitigate supply disruptions and risks impacting product availability to our Members.
The Supply Chain Lead will be responsible for root cause analysis of supply chain disruptions through member and supplier conversations and partnering internally to deliver insights that will optimize the supply chain of ClarusONE sourced products. This role combines customer-focused analytics with pharmaceutical industry knowledge to drive service excellence and maintain downstream supply chain efficiency.
This Supply Chain Lead reports to the Senior Director, Member Engagement, and actively partners with all ClarusONE business functions, Members, and suppliers to understand the market landscape and maintain service level excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Develop an in-depth understanding of the US generics market, focusing on supply chain dynamics across supplier, wholesaler, and retail sectors. Leverage this knowledge to monitor supply chain and service performance indicators, enabling data-driven recommendations for supply assurance strategies.
- Design and implement strategies to strengthen supply chain resilience and enhance service levels, including ensuring end-to-end visibility, designing contingency plans, and establishing governance frameworks for sustainable improvements.
- Collaborate with supplier-facing teams to drive service level improvements through direct conversations with manufacturers, attending Business Review Meetings, and sharing intelligence gained from conferences.
- Lead initiatives to foster a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability, helping identify items at risk of supply disruption and developing strategies for resolution.
- Coordinate cross-functional collaboration to transform market insights and data into actionable strategies that optimize supply chain reliability and strengthen partnerships.
- Develop reporting and forecasting frameworks to monitor critical categories and anticipate market disruptions and opportunities.
- Establish customer feedback mechanisms to inform service level improvement initiatives within ClarusONE.
- Create detailed mappings of forecasting and replenishment processes, driving inbound service level improvements.
- Maintain SOPs, prepare routine reports, and develop presentations analyzing sourcing performance across categories and suppliers.
- Analyze supply chain and service level KPIs, translating data into strategic insights and recommendations.
- Utilize industry understanding to benchmark performance, identify improvement areas, and maintain a competitive edge for ClarusONE members.
Requirements:
Education/Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or equivalent experience with a proven track record in a similar role.
- Experience in healthcare, preferably in generic pharmaceuticals, though not mandatory.
- Experience in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, Prince 2).
- Experience leading working groups to drive service improvements.
- Proven ability to manage change effectively within organizations.
- Track record of implementing measurable service improvements with positive business impact.
