Are you a process-driven, highly organised HR professional who loves being the administrative engine of a team? Our People & Culture team is growing, and we are looking for a proactive HR Administrator / HR Generalist to join us. Reporting directly to the People & Culture Director, you will take true ownership of our day-to-day HR operations and recruitment workflows. If you have a strong foundation in HR administration and want a role with autonomy, variety, and room to grow your generalist career, we want to hear from you!
About the Role: This is a true generalist support role where you’ll handle the critical administrative lifting across the employee lifecycle:
- HR Administration: Draft and issue contracts, offer letters, variation letters, and leaver documentation with absolute accuracy.
- Recruitment Coordination: Partner with hiring managers to place ads, screen CVs, shortlist talent, and manage interview schedules.
- Onboarding: Manage seamless inductions, ensuring all right-to-work, reference, and compliance checks are 100% complete.
- Data & HRIS: Maintain our HRIS with perfect accuracy, tracking metrics (absence/sickness) and prepping monthly payroll data.
- Employer Branding: Get creative! Share engaging content on LinkedIn and Instagram to showcase our culture and internal initiatives.
- First-Level Contact: Act as the go-to person for everyday employee and manager queries regarding company policies.
Skills & Attributes:
- 3–4 years of progressive experience in a dedicated HR administration, coordination, or operational support role.
- Direct experience managing HR databases, HRIS, or Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
- Confidence screening CVs and managing recruitment pipelines.
- Exceptional written communication and absolute attention to detail with legal paperwork.
- Process-driven, approachable, calm under pressure, and strictly confidential.
Location & Flexibility: This is a full-time, office-based role. However, while this is not a remote position, we champion agile ways of working and offer flexibility around how we deliver our goals. You must have a valid driving licence and the ability to commute to our current office in Bordon, as well as our fantastic new offices in Alton (we are moving there soon!).
