MSK are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Health & Safety Advisor to join our team in London. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, and supporting the development of a positive safety culture across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement H&S policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and staff on all health and safety matters.
  • Investigate accidents and incidents, producing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
  • Deliver health and safety training and inductions to employees.
  • Monitor and review H&S performance, producing reports for senior management.
  • Keep up to date with changes in legislation and best practices.

Requirements

  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (essential).
  • Proven experience in a health and safety advisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, in particular obligations under CDM2015.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and H&S management systems.
  • Membership of IOSH or similar professional body.
  • Experience in a specific sector (e.g. construction).
  • First Aid or Fire Safety qualifications.
  • Comfortable public speaker.
