MSK are seeking a proactive and knowledgeable Health & Safety Advisor to join our team in London. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation, and supporting the development of a positive safety culture across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Develop and implement H&S policies, procedures, and risk assessments.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and staff on all health and safety matters.
- Investigate accidents and incidents, producing detailed reports and recommending corrective actions.
- Deliver health and safety training and inductions to employees.
- Monitor and review H&S performance, producing reports for senior management.
- Keep up to date with changes in legislation and best practices.
Requirements
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent (essential).
- Proven experience in a health and safety advisory role.
- Strong knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, in particular obligations under CDM2015.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and H&S management systems.
- Membership of IOSH or similar professional body.
- Experience in a specific sector (e.g. construction).
- First Aid or Fire Safety qualifications.
- Comfortable public speaker.
