The predicted salary is between 31368 - 31368 £ per year.
We are seeking a skilled and reliable HGV Driver to join our waste management team. The successful candidate will be required to drive any of our fleet, comprising of cage, compactors, skips and ROROs.
HGV Driver with minimum Class C category: £15.10ph + £20.00 per day attendance bonus (excluding weekends, bank holidays & annual leave).
7.5t Driver with minimum Class C1 category: £13.50ph + £20.00 per day attendance bonus (excluding weekends, bank holidays & annual leave).
Both roles do not require experience as full training will be given, but experience would be preferable and the following are a pre-requisite:
- Must have a clean Drivers Licence showing the permissible category of licence attained with no pending motoring convictions.
- Must hold a valid and in date Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
- Must hold a valid and in date Digital Tachograph Card.
The following are the standard terms expected from any driver:
- 48hrs per week.
- Working days - Mon Fri.
- Any hrs over and above 48hrs will be paid at the overtime rate of time + £5.
- Nominal Start time 0600hrs but may be required to start earlier.
- Finish Time 1530hrs, however drivers may be asked to work an additional minimum of 1 hr per day over and above their contracted hrs at standard overtime rate, work and legislative hrs permitting.
- Saturdays/Sundays/Bank Holidays optional overtime, work and legislative hrs permitting.
- 20 x days annual leave (This will be pro rata and accrued from the contracted start date).
- 8 x days bank holiday.
