MSite has an exciting opportunity for a Stock and Engineering Assistant to join our team working across the M4 Corridor. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary.

What you will do as our Field Engineer:

  • Reporting to the Engineer Manager based in our head office in Liverpool, you’ll be the ‘face of MSite’, visiting our customers and installing and maintaining our products on site across the South of England.
  • On-Site Installation, commissioning and testing of MSite products at customer sites
  • Support & Maintenance of existing Customer and Key Stakeholders
  • Setting up the system with the help of office staff (full training will be provided)
  • Providing basic training to customers on how the system works
  • Deliver a consistent high standard and achieve excellent customer satisfaction
  • Routine and Reactive maintenance
  • Fault finding, Diagnosis and Resolution of Faults
  • Operating independently most of the time, with occasional team-based jobs as required
  • Travelling across London and the South of the UK, with occasional overnight stays

Our ideal Field Engineer:

  • M4 Corridor based or surrounding counties (Wiltshire, Hampshire, Surrey, Bucks)
  • Previous experience of a field-based / service role
  • Ideally you will be from one of the following backgrounds: Access Control, Time & Attendance, Fire Alarms, Data Networks, Sky Installation, or similar electrical devices.
  • Knowledge of codes of practice and current industry standards
  • CSCS / SSSTS Accreditations or equivalent (CCNSG, ECS, IOSH etc.) desired
  • Must pass BPSS Security Screening
  • Able to work independently and travel daily
  • Full UK Manual Driving Licence is required
  • Strong communication skills, self-motivation, and effective time-management
