About the Role As a Purchase Ledger Assistant in the Global Support Office Finance Shared Services Team, you will assist the Purchase Ledger & Expenses Officer with purchase orders, and with the processing, reconciliation and payment of supplier invoices and staff expenses. Excellent numeracy skills Attention to detail Competence in using accounting systems and Microsoft Office applications. Clear and professional communication skills for dealing with internal teams and external suppliers, including professional telephone manner. To perform this role, you’ll need the following experience: Practical experience of purchase ledger. Experience of working to tight deadlines and managing conflicting priorities Formal education/qualification GCSE Level or equivalent in Maths and English - essential Accounting, purchase ledger qualification – desirable. Please see the job description here. Location: London, UK (minimum of 2 days per week in the office). Full-time: 35 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Contract type: 12 month fixed term contract. Salary: £24,975 - £31,213 per annum. Salary band: BG 5 Closing date: 6th October 2026 (midnight BST). Interviews may take place before this date for exceptional candidates.
