What You'll Do
As a NHS Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for the effective, proactive management of regional contracts, ensuring the maintenance and optimisation of existing business while identifying opportunities for growth within your allocated region. We are seeking a highly focused and motivated individual to join our Business Development and Engagement Division. This team plays a pivotal role in contract management and driving new business growth across key service areas, including termination of pregnancy, contraception, and vasectomy services.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract & Business Management
- Lead comprehensive contract management across all regional contracts, working collaboratively with internal stakeholders
- Drive the development and optimisation of existing contracts to maximise performance and value
- Lead on fee setting and contract negotiations to secure favourable and sustainable outcomes
- Undertake competitor analysis and provide insights to inform strategic positioning
- Business Development & Growth
- Identify, research, and develop new business opportunities within the region
- Monitor and interpret changes in the healthcare landscape, assessing opportunities and risks
- Proactively identify and respond to emerging opportunities and threats
- Ensure visibility of all relevant tender opportunities and coordinate timely, high-quality responses
- Stakeholder Engagement
- Build and maintain strong external relationships with commissioners and key partners
- Represent MSI at meetings, presentations, conferences, and industry events
- Provide intelligence on healthcare professionals and networks to strengthen engagement approaches
- Marketing & Collaboration
- Work with digital marketing and brand & communications teams to support new initiatives
- Contribute to local marketing strategies aligned with regional objectives
- Provide insight on local advertising and promotional opportunities
- Strategic Contribution
- Work closely with the Divisional Lead and Associate Director to inform regional and organisational business planning
