About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and visionary Interim Associate Director, Marketing to lead the UK & Ireland Haematology Brand Team. This role will drive the launch and long‑term commercial success of key haematology assets, ensuring alignment with global franchise strategies while delivering excellence across brand planning, omnichannel execution, and cross‑functional leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the UK & Ireland Haematology Brand Team to deliver successful asset launches and long‑term commercial strategy, including brand/tactical plans and marketing budgets.
- Provide cross‑functional leadership across the matrix organisation, fully reflecting the company’s values and culture.
- Develop clear, differentiated, and insight‑driven marketing strategies and execute tactical plans across multiple future indications.
- Partner with Business Analytics to deliver market insights, KPIs, and forecasting to drive informed commercial decisions.
- Lead brand planning, tactical programme development, and market research; communicate insights across internal teams.
- Drive effective financial planning, monitor performance, identify variances, and lead corrective actions to achieve profit targets.
- Ensure effective omnichannel marketing delivery based on customer insights, segmentation, preference data, and channel feedback loops.
- Build strong partnerships with external KOLs and influence internal commercial and strategic decision‑making.
- Represent the company at key UK, Ireland, and European conferences and events.
- Ensure full compliance with GxP, industry standards, and all relevant UK & Ireland regulations.
- Champion a culture of patient‑centricity and contribute to broader organisational people and culture initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience

- Demonstrated ability to build strong, actionable relationships with KOLs and internal partners in commercial, medical, and clinical teams.
- Proven influencing skills across cross‑functional environments.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to synthesise complex data into commercial insights.
- Strengths in communication, strategic agility, achieving results, and collaboration/teamwork.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced qualifications such as CIM, MA, MBA, or PhD are advantageous.
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in pharmaceutical marketing or related areas (e.g., sales, forecasting, market research, consulting).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in haematology sales and/or marketing preferred.
- Experience launching products in the UK & Ireland marketplace is strongly preferred.
