Interim Associate Director of Commercial Operations – UK & Ireland
Location: Fully remote UK & Ireland
Engagement Status: 6 month contract
Overview
We have partnered with a high‑growth oncology biotech to find someone to support the launch of a novel solid tumours asset across the UK & Ireland. Reporting to the Director of Commercial Operations & Customer Engagement, this role will lead brand strategy, cross‑functional execution, and customer engagement across multiple indications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the UK & Ireland Solid Tumours Brand Team through multiple launches
- Develop and execute commercial strategy, brand plans, and tactical programmes
- Drive cross‑functional collaboration across Commercial, Medical, and Analytics
- Partner with Business Analytics on market insights, KPIs, and forecasting
- Deliver omnichannel strategies driven by customer insight and segmentation
- Manage budgets, financial planning, and performance tracking
- Build strong relationships with external KOLs and partners
- Ensure GxP compliance, ethical conduct, and patient‑centric decision‑making
- Represent the company at UK, Ireland, and European meetings and congresses
Hard Skills
- Pharmaceutical commercial operations experience (sales, marketing, analytics, insights, SF effectiveness)
- Proven UK & Ireland product launch experience
- Oncology marketing and/or sales experience (PD‑(L)1 preferred)
- Strong brand strategy, forecasting, and financial planning capability
- Experience delivering omnichannel marketing strategies
- Solid understanding of GxP, compliance, and governance requirements
