About the role:
Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer ready to take on complex, real-world challenges? Join our Systems Engineering team and help design and deliver innovative, high-performance defence solutions. You’ll work across the full engineering lifecycle — from interpreting system requirements and designing power and control systems, to supporting prototyping, testing, and integration. It’s a hands-on, collaborative role with the opportunity to make a real impact.
The main elements of the role will include:
- Designing and developing electrical systems for high-performance defence platforms
- Producing detailed schematics, technical documentation, and supplier interface materials
- Supporting prototype builds, testing, and commissioning activities
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful integration
- Ensuring all work meets required quality, safety, and industry standards
About the person:
- HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent practical experience)
- Proven experience in electrical design—particularly industrial wiring, control systems, and system interconnection
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Hands-on experience with test equipment and prototype testing
- Clear communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
