As a carer with MSH Healthcare, your job is to help people live independently in their own homes. This could mean anything from supporting with personal care or medication to providing companionship and friendly conversation. You have the ability to add a little magic to someone's day.

What You Need to Know

In this role, there is no such thing as a typical service user or a typical day. Every person you care for is an individual with their own needs, preferences and personality, and the support you provide will be tailored to meet those needs.

Your main responsibilities may include:

  • Providing personal care
  • Supporting with or administering medication in line with care plans and training
  • Completing shopping calls
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Promoting dignity, choice, independence and wellbeing
  • Following individual care plans and reporting any concerns appropriately

Working Hours

Part-time shifts: 7:00am–3:00pm, 3:00pm–10:00pm
Full-time hours: 7:00am–11:00pm
We offer a set shift pattern with alternate weekends off.

What We Need from You

  • Be caring, empathetic, respectful and flexible
  • Be reliable and committed to delivering high-quality care
  • Be aged 18 or over
  • Be willing to complete an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check
  • Be willing to complete all required pre-employment checks
  • Previous care experience is welcomed but is not essential, as full nurse-led training will be provided.
