This is a fast-paced and critical role that oversees the scheduling of high-volume domiciliary care rotas.
Your main roles and responsibilities:
- Rota planning and management - maintain accurate weekly and monthly rotas and match carers to calls based on compatibility and training
- Ensure 100% of scheduled shifts are covered and proactively manage open shifts
- Monitor staff availability and adjust rotas based on leave, sickness or emergencies
- Process all call cancellations, holiday requests and updates
- Communicate clearly with team leaders, managers and care staff
- Work closely with Management to highlight recruitment needs to allow for consistent and safe delivery of care.
- Problem-solve on a daily basis
Essential skills:
- Excellent attention to detail and time management
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under pressure and respond flexibly
- Proficiency with rota software and MS Office
- Understanding of CQC regulations and care sector standards
Essential Experience:
- Minimum one year's experience as the Care/Rota Coordinator of a Domiciliary Care Agency
- Experience within Domiciliary care or a similar setting would be desirable.
