Position
MSF UK is looking for an archivist with project management experience and a passion for humanitarian work.
- Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Mon-Fri
- Duration: Fixed Term Contract (18 months)
- Location: London - hybrid, 2 days per week in London office (including Wednesdays)
- Salary: £59,739.12 - £73,014.48 per annum
Job Purpose:
The role is responsible for planning, scoping, organising, and implementing the delivery of the MSF Archives Project under the direction of the Steering Committee.
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Essential skills:
- Proficiency in archival science and records management
- Knowledge of born-digital records
- Understanding of records access
- Proven experience in project management
- Subject background in humanitarian work
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Accredited qualification in archives and records management, or relevant work experience
- Proven experience in project management
- Experience in digital file management and/or archiving projects
- Experience working in humanitarian or non-profit organizations (desirable)
