We are recruiting for a strategic role for a Vaccines and Public Health Commercial Access Director to be based in Moorgate, London. As a member of the Vaccines & Public Health (V&PH) leadership team and in partnership with cross-functional colleagues, you will work collaboratively to partner & enable the UK healthcare system to prevent disease, enhance quality of life for patients and improve population health. You will report directly into the Executive Director of Vaccines & Public Health (V&PH) Business Unit.
Responsibilities within the leadership team include:
- Being accountable for enabling a diverse and inclusive culture.
- Delivering on the business unit financials.
- Providing thought leadership about the evolving healthcare and public health landscape.
What you will do:
- Manage a team of specialists who are responsible for executing commercial access partnerships, managing commercial contracts, and identifying new strategic partnerships as part of our approach towards healthcare ecosystem support.
- Lead a wider cross-functional team from across the business to gain, maintain, and improve access to our important vaccines and select therapies.
- Be accountable for setting and delivering on aspirational, industry-leading goals that build our company's reputation as a leader in Public Health.
- Be responsible for the planning and delivery of V&PH products where access activities continue to be critical in achieving results and delivering outcomes.
Role responsibilities:
- Lead the development & execution of initiatives that shape and secure optimal market access for our vaccines and select therapies.
- Deliver and execute on tenders and commercial supply contracts ensuring favourable terms and achieving optimal outcomes.
- Develop and drive the narrative with external stakeholders that builds our Company’s reputation as a leader in public health who proactively engages with scientific and policy communities.
- Develop and manage senior external stakeholder relationships that enable mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Work in partnership with leaders in other Company functions across local, regional, and global teams - predominantly Medical Affairs, Policy and Access.
- Strategic Partnership programme management to deliver across internal and external stakeholders.
- Horizon-scan and incorporate new and emerging partnership opportunities that can enhance the value proposition of our vaccines and select therapies.
- Develop, own and deliver against OKRs (objectives and key results) that are aligned to our customer and financial goals.
