The Omnichannel Enablement & Campaign Execution Lead acts as the centre of excellence for customer engagement and omnichannel activation across the Companion Animal business. The role works across veterinary professionals, corporate veterinary groups, pet owners and strategic partners to identify engagement opportunities, develop customer-focused activation plans and enable the delivery of integrated marketing programmes that support portfolio objectives and business growth.

Working closely with Strategic Portfolio Managers, Corporate Account Managers and external customers, the role provides customer insight, channel expertise, customer journey design and campaign excellence to help shape marketing plans and maximise their impact. While Strategic Portfolio Managers retain ownership of brand strategy and campaign objectives, the Omnichannel Enablement & Campaign Execution Lead ensures those strategies are effectively activated across the wider customer ecosystem through coordinated engagement programmes, pet owner initiatives and omnichannel best practices; driving stronger customer experiences, greater demand generation and improved campaign performance. Success will be defined by a mix of brand performance, on time delivery of campaigns and achieving pre-agreed campaign KPIs.

Excluding the field force, the Omnichannel Enablement & Campaign Execution Lead is responsible for designing and ensuring execution of campaigns across all key customer influence pathways, including:

  • Engagement from our company to veterinary professionals through corporate veterinary group headquarters and third-party channels (e.g. paid search, social, print advertising).
  • Direct engagement from our company to pet owners.
  • Engagement from our company to pet owners through veterinary practices, corporate veterinary groups and online pharmacies.

The Omnichannel Enablement & Campaign Execution Lead must work as an integrated partner with each Strategic Portfolio Manager to ensure complete and impactful execution is achieved. They will take accountability for executing agreed channel activities and support Strategic Portfolio Managers to execute on others.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Omnichannel Strategy: Develop the Companion Animal omnichannel engagement strategy across all customer segments. Define and optimise the omnichannel engagement strategy by identifying the most effective mix of channels, content and customer journeys, supported by robust KPIs and performance insights. Ensure alignment across Strategic Portfolio Managers, regional account managers, technical leads and corporate account teams.
  • Campaign Excellence: Work closely with Strategic Portfolio Managers to understand brand goals and campaign objectives to lead the detailed planning, execution and measurement of these campaigns. Build and execute integrated campaigns that connect professional, corporate and pet owner audiences. Through cross functional collaboration, deliver consistent execution across digital, media, web, social, events and partnership channels. Lead development of digital customer journeys. Champion use of CRM, marketing automation, analytics and digital engagement platforms.
  • Corporate Customer Activation: Partner with Corporate Accounts teams to align marketing plans and develop scalable campaign solutions for large veterinary groups. Create activation frameworks that support group-level and practice-level implementation. Ensure campaigns can be deployed effectively across corporate networks.
  • Pet Owner Activation: Lead pet owner engagement programmes including MyPet and other digital initiatives. Work with global and regional teams to drive demand generation and behaviour change to support brand objectives. Develop customer journey and lifecycle marketing approaches, using adapted global assets wherever possible.
