About AH Technology Solutions: Animal health Technology Solutions offers global animal identification and monitoring solutions for companion animals and livestock. These solutions enable pet owners to better manage the health and well-being of their pets and enable livestock producers to improve well-being and animal production. Technology Solutions include Core Technologies in Livestock Identification, Dairy, Beef, and Swine monitoring, for which the product/market fit is established, as well as products in discovery.

Leadership of the Product team is shared between the Product Manager and the Technology Lead, ensuring balanced guidance that bridges product vision and technical execution.

Role summary: As Senior System Engineer you will have significant impact on our multi-disciplinary R&D projects, grow with us as we venture into new technologies and will lead work groups in our projects as part of the connected devices line of products during the product lifecycle of both discovery and delivery.

The responsibilities will include defining System, HW, Embedded, ATE, SW & Integration requirements as well as contributing to the design stage of each discipline, defining the protocol, technical problem solving, proof of concept and field testing and assisting in tests design and investigations. The position requires multidisciplinary understanding, ability to quickly grasp new technological aspects as well as constraints, the capability to work in a multi-site matrix organization and working closely in a Product and Platform team with other system engineers, embedded software developers, HW engineers, Integration Engineers as well as backend and front-end teams.

Requirements:

  • BSC/MSc in Electrical engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in system design of multidisciplinary systems
  • Experience in working with communication products, Embedded, HW, RF systems
  • Problem solver with good personal and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to understand complex IoT systems and quickly grasp new technical concepts with focus on challenges ahead and alternative comparison
  • Experience of working in complex multidisciplinary projects that requires a high level of technical know-how

  • Experience in working with Atlassian and Azure DevOps
  • Experience in working with Agentic AI for discovery and innovation
  • Coding capabilities (C/C#/Java/Python)
  • Experience with RF communication technologies (BLE, WiFi, LTE-M, LoRa, etc)
  • Knowledge in backend systems and serverless solutions
  • Working with Cloud based infrastructure for IoT devices
