Role Purpose
The Capabilities Partner is responsible for partnering with UK & Ireland Human Health stakeholders to identify, shape and deliver strategic capability and learning solutions aligned to Global Human Health L&D strategy. The role combines strategic capability partnering with accountability for training and engagement planning, delivery and evaluation to support business performance and organisational effectiveness.

Key Accountabilities

  • Partner with UK & Ireland HH stakeholders to identify current and future capability requirements aligned to business priorities.
  • Translate business needs into clear capability strategies, learning plans and training interventions.
  • Lead the development and execution of annual training and engagement plans for defined populations.
  • Coordinate and deliver training solutions across product, skills and capability development, working with subject matter experts and cross-functional partners.
  • Leverage global, regional and local learning resources to deliver compliant, effective solutions.
  • Apply appropriate evaluation methodologies to assess impact and inform continuous improvement.
  • Maintain awareness of the external healthcare and NHS environment to ensure capabilities remain future-focused.
  • Build and maintain a process for audit ready records of training & interventions across UK & Ireland HH.
  • Strengthen selling capability by translating brand strategies, disease education, and product knowledge—including new product launches—into compliant, high-impact learning plans and blended training solutions that drive confidence, effectiveness, and performance in the field.
  • Collaborate with Brand Leads to deeply understand brand objectives, disease areas, and target customer needs, translating these into effective, compliant learning programs and launch training, customer engagement and commercial skills.
  • Lead the onboarding and ongoing development of field representatives, with a strong focus on commercial selling excellence, disease education, and product differentiation.
  • Facilitate and deliver training sessions across brands and products, applying commercial selling best practices to ensure learning is practical, relevant, and immediately applicable in the field.
  • Regularly review, refresh, and enhance existing learning materials to ensure ongoing alignment with brand strategies, market dynamics, disease knowledge, and selling effectiveness.

  • Innovative, growth-mindset approach with comfort working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Highly effective communicator, able to engage and collaborate across diverse teams and functions.
  • Proven experience in training and development, learning facilitation, or capability building.
  • Strong facilitation, storytelling, and presentation skills.
