Reporting to the Commercial Systems & Insights Manager, the Data Analyst is responsible for driving business insights from commercial data to support decision making. The role will support month end operational reporting across multiple sales data sets to external customers, manage rebate data calculations and reporting as part of month end processes, and continue driving the development of a new reporting ecosystem, supporting users and working alongside I.T development teams.
This role requires advanced knowledge of data and the ability to extract insights from raw data sets, working closely with the CS&I Manager, business leaders and account managers to enable the organization to make informed business decisions through data insights. The role requires high attention to detail, managing large data sets to ensure accurate business reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Manage monthly customer sales reporting
- Manage rebate calculation processes – managing rebate agreements and sales calculations related to rebates
- Collaborate with other Data Analysts, Data Scientists, to continue driving the development of a new data ecosystem
- Manage key data sources for data insights to ensure timely and accurate provision of sales and activity information across the company
- Manage business testing processes and validation of data & insights during development
- Analysis and insight on key performance indicators to aid marketing decision making
- Develop end-users with training and support on multiple platforms and dashboards
- Analytics Customer based sales reporting as part of month end activities
- Central rebate sales data calculations and payment processes
- Drive continuous development of performance dashboards and improvement of existing tools that deliver insights
- Develop and maintain system operating procedures and train colleagues to ensure adequate system support in relation to business KPIs
- Ensure within Our Company Animal Health compliance framework and privacy requirements; liaise with local and global teams to ensure data SOPs are adhered to
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to advise on learnings and best practice and optimise results
- Stewardship of timelines and quality of delivery
- Identify data trends and opportunities to automate business insights

Skills and Competencies Required- Strong data skills and managing large data sets including sales reporting
- Previous experience working with reporting suites (such as Power BI) will be advantageous
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience with data/ reporting and analytics
- Experience in driving usage of sales performance dashboards
- Confidence and experience with standard office applications including Microsoft Excel
- Good project management skills
