We are seeking a qualified finance professional to join our team as an FP&A Associate Director within a leading global biopharmaceutical organization. Based in our London office, this role offers a hybrid working model that combines office and remote working.
Reporting to the Head of FP&A, the FP&A Associate Director position is a trusted business partnership role that closely collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality forecasts and support strategic decision-making. This position requires strong financial integrity, commercial acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively across functions to support performance and long-term business objectives. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry.
Role Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end financial planning process, including the 5-year plan and annual budget, liaising with the Business Support Centre colleagues and other cross-functional teams.
- Develop ad-hoc business analysis and present recommendations to senior management.
- Devise new measures and metrics designed to give greater insight into how the business is performing.
- Assist in maintaining an effective internal control environment, compliance with GAAP and corporate policies, recommending controls by identifying problems.
- Support Finance Leadership with process improvement, policy development and strategic initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Preferably Qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent qualifications) with a minimum of 5 years of FP&A experience.
- Fluent in English (proficiency level) and excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Advanced Excel skills; SAP or Power BI experience preferable.
- Previous Pharmaceutical experience preferable.
- A high standard of accuracy with financial and statistical data.
- Agile mindset to accommodate assumption changes and business cases in the dynamic and innovative environment, supporting our current and future portfolio.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Commercial awareness and an ability to determine insightful observations from detail for management attention.
This role will be contracted to the Moorgate office for 2 days per week in line with our hybrid working approach.
