Overview
We are a global company manufacturing a connected animal product, based in Cambourne, Cambridge. We are recruiting a French-speaking candidate with French fluency required; knowledge of Dutch is advantageous but not essential. We place a high value on customer service and prefer a flexible, multi-lingual staff member to provide local language customer service for our European customers.
Responsibilities
- Act as the first point of contact for European customers, providing customer support via email, telephone and online. Direct contact with individual customers to troubleshoot issues and escalate as appropriate to the Team Leader.
- Collaborate with our European fulfilment and contact centre to ensure smooth customer service and product delivery. Support the rest of the customer service team as needed.
- Direct contact with existing trade customers and obtain feedback to help Sure Petcare improve its offering.
- Support ongoing business operations, including setup of new systems, occasional order taking, sales administration, and troubleshooting.
- Assist with social customer service (Facebook and Twitter) in Dutch and English.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience Required
- Very positive attitude toward customer service; belief that it is central to the business\’s success.
- Good understanding of technology, especially connected products and IoT (Internet of Things).
- Clear written and oral communication skills for customer contacts and preparation of new support materials.
- Excellent telephone manner and ability to adapt approach for consumer and business customers.
- Ability to quickly learn new skills and troubleshoot a technical product while guiding customers through issues.
- Organised, able to work independently and adapt to varied role requirements.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word and Excel); knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM systems is an asset.
Other advantageous skills
- Experience with connected products or IoT.
- Experience of social customer service.
- Fluency in other European languages.
