Your Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Associate in Real Time Index Production, you will be accountable for the delivery and continuous improvement of index production workstreams across global markets. This is a hands-on role, you will be deeply embedded in daily production, real-time monitoring, and quality assurance while also operating with a high degree of independence, leading incident resolution, and taking end-to-end ownership of complex initiatives with minimal supervision. This role is the bridge between execution and leadership - suited for someone who drives resolution, challenges the status quo, and raises the bar for the team around them.

  • Execute daily real-time and end-of-day index production processes, ensuring delivery within strict deadlines and SLA compliance across global markets.
  • Monitor real-time production systems, investigate alerts, and perform root cause analysis - driving resolution independently rather than waiting for direction.
  • Lead quality assurance efforts across production workflows - designing and executing test plans, validating system enhancements, and ensuring changes are thoroughly tested before deployment.
  • Review and sign off on QA findings, identifying edge cases and escalating risks before they reach production.
  • Lead incident and bridge calls during live production issues, coordinating cross-team resolution and ensuring permanent remediation.
  • Independently manage projects from requirements gathering through deployment, proactively identifying risks and dependencies without waiting to be prompted.
  • Apply sound operational judgment to resolve production issues within established boundaries, knowing when to own the call and when to escalate.
  • Identify and implement opportunities to embed automation and AI-driven solutions into production workflows, reducing manual intervention and improving operational resilience.
  • Leverage AI-driven tools such as anomaly detection, AI-assisted log analysis, and LLM-based copilots to proactively identify production issues and accelerate triage.
  • Represent the team confidently in cross-functional discussions with Technology, Product, and Client Services, pushing back constructively when priorities or timelines need to be challenged.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, serving as the first point of escalation before issues reach senior management.
  • Contribute to governance, documentation, and best practices to support operational standards across the team.
  • Ensure production readiness for system enhancements, methodology updates, and product launches within your workstream.

Your skills and experience that will help you excel:

  • At least 5 years of experience in data operations, production services, or financial data workflows, with experience in Index Data Operations strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead incident calls and drive issues to resolution independently, with minimal oversight required.
  • Proven track record of owning projects end-to-end - from business requirements through testing and deployment - with minimal supervision.
  • Hands-on experience in quality assurance, including designing test plans, executing UAT, and validating system changes in operational environments.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, index concepts, and corporate actions.
  • Experience working in time-sensitive, SLA-driven operational environments with a strong ownership mindset.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Excel; working knowledge of Python or scripting preferred.
  • Practical exposure to AI-enabled tools such as generative AI copilots and anomaly detection systems, with demonstrated ability to apply them to operational problems.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to represent the team and push back constructively in global stakeholder discussions.
  • Genuine interest in developing those around you, with experience mentoring or guiding junior colleagues.
  • Willingness to work in a global, shift-based environment supporting real-time production cycles.
