Reporting to the Head of Global Employee Communications, the Vice President, Corporate Communications will be responsible for building strategic communications programs that inform and engage employees, with a particular focus on MSCI’s Global Client Coverage organization (sales). Your communication plans will help drive MSCI’s growth strategy by educating and aligning employees on our company’s evolution, growth catalysts and business priorities, with an emphasis on arming the sales organization with critical information that inspires and drives action. The wide remit of your communications will include product launches, marketing campaigns, change management programs, client wins, company milestones, corporate initiatives, thought leadership, events and beyond. The person in this role will be a creative self-starter and have an entrepreneurial mindset. You will possess a strong drive to engage a vital internal audience charged with delivering all of MSCI to our clients to connect them to our company’s vision and motivate them to achieve our business goals. Key Responsibilities Work closely with the entire Corporate Communications teams to create and deliver holistic, integrated content and communications that inform, align and engage employees. Build thriving relationships with Sales, Marketing and Product teams to build and execute strategic employee communication plans, approaches and tactics for global employees and focused on our sales teams. Develop strategic communications that align the sales team around MSCI’s vision and strategy, deliver key corporate, business and product updates in a streamlined, integrated and effective manner. Serve as a communications advisor to senior leaders within the sales organization to build a strong understanding of their teams’ needs and the unique audiences within the organization and use those insights to deliver effective communications. Stay attuned to key issues and their potential impact on the sales organization; work with internal stakeholders to develop intricate talking points and statements on timely topics and distribute to appropriate sales audiences. Build key communications that showcase how we place our clients at the heart of all we do and the company’s approach to selling and servicing, client satisfaction and client retention and the important role they play in MSCI’s growth. Drive adoption of important tools and resources available for employees, in particular for the sales team, using effective internal communication channels and approaches. Create compelling content from complex information – craft, edit, distribute and measure a variety of content across a wide range of internal channels and provide key support with town halls, employee messages, offsites and more. Innovate new ways to celebrate and recognize the accomplishments of our sales teams and demonstrate the impact they have in accelerating MSCI’s growth and delivering on our business goals. Minimum Requirements 10+ years of professional experience working in Communications or similar field, preferably in-house. Must have financial industry background and knowledge; experience working closely with sales teams is desired. Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, English, Finance or similar field. Superior written and verbal communications across all media types, and strong client relationship skills. Experience working with and advising senior leaders, and able to build relationships with colleagues at all levels across the world. Able to prioritize and handle a wide range of projects and tasks in a fast-moving environment.
