Trade Support Assistant (Export IPAK)
Full Time, Permanent
We are looking for a Trade Support Assistant to join our Export Commercial department looking after the Export IPAK, Red Sea, East Africa and Indian Ocean trade lanes. The role is driven by data, reporting and relationship building both internally with other departments and with new and existing customers.
This role is largely focused on developing the amount of business within these trade lanes and upselling MSC products to generate maximal revenue and TEU.

How you will help us and what you can expect
- Establish and maintain good client relationships
- Pricing quotations & Tenders
- Maintain and/or update specials rates and Tariffs
- Provide statistical market analysis
- Client & Geneva visit preparation including presentations
- Maintain/Produce Daily vessel and Booking reports
- Work closely with Trade and Sales to proactively retain and grow accounts, including any research and development required, mindful of contribution towards overall Trade revenue targets
- Identify and promote attractive business opportunities to Trade
- Ensure all Trade and Geneva reports are produced accurately within agreed KPI’s
- Ensure freight rates and landside charges are accurately captured and filed within Tariff Management Systems
- Strong communication and liaison across the Commercial teams and the wider business to ensure operational support
