The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Partner to join our HR team. This is a new role which will suit someone who has the skill, drive and tenacity to take our Recruitment function to the next level. We have clear priorities that we want to deliver:

  • Transform and evolve the recruitment and selection service we provide to our growing and dynamic business, by modernising policy and procedures which enhance KPI performance.
  • Increase the reliability of our selection process both in terms of technical and behavioural needs.
  • Operationalise our talent mobility ambitions, in partnership with our People Development team.
  • Provide trusted guidance, advice and training to recruiting managers of all levels, to facilitate quick and purposeful decision-making.
  • Build powerful internal and external networks that will provide us with access to the best possible talent pools by leveraging and promoting our employer brand.

Skills and experience you’ll bring to us:

  • Experience as a recruitment manager/partner, or as a highly skilled specialist in talent acquisition.
  • Strong knowledge of selection best-practices, with the ability to change and embed process changes quickly.
  • Strong influencing, communication and change management skills are essential.
  • Ability to work in an agile way balancing multiple priorities.
  • Professional presentation, with authentic and engaging delivery.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team as required.
  • Ability to represent MSC’s brand and values at all levels and situations.
  • Relevant experience in an in-house recruitment role.
  • Knowledge of MSC’s values, culture and heritage.

  • People-Centred Approach: Be at the forefront of our need to get the right people, in the right places, at the right time in the right way. Build and maintain highly-effective and respected relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally, in order to provide the best service possible to managers and our people. Understand their business units, both where they are and where they want to be, so you can help them secure the people they will need in the future. Ability to prioritise according to business needs.
  • Supporting Business Growth: Act both proactively and reactively as required in order to promote organisational agility. Actively partner with managers, ensuring that current priorities and activities are focussed on what is important to them and the wider business. Provide an authentic and responsive recruitment service which is integral to the success of business growth. Ensure policies and procedures are aligned and agile. Whilst we remain outcome focussed, our underpinning methods must be robust and consistent to ensure integrity and compliance.
  • Building a Highly Skilled Workforce: Lead on the talent acquisition selection process, with shared accountability with the business for the quality and timelines of quality selections. Wherever possible, promote and support internal talent mobility. Ensure job adverts and selection methods attract and identify the right candidates with attributes who will really make a difference. Work in partnership with the People Development team to ensure that our managers and leaders not only understand our policies and procedures, but also have the tools and skills needed to deliver against them, every time. Develop and maintain meaningful recruitment and talent mobility KPIs. Work in collaboration within the HR team, ensuring all processes are seamless and that all data is accurate. Both efficiency and accuracy are fundamental. Ensure data captured and subsequent administration is legally compliant. Ensure recruitment data is translated into meaningful information to enhance decision-making.
  • Collaborative High Performance: Act as ambassador for, and instil a culture of, one-team working – both within the HR team and the wider business. Proactively engage with external networks, embracing opportunities to leverage and promote our employer brand in key demographics (especially in the Apprenticeships, school and university pipelines). Encourage curiosity and confidence to challenge; continuing to seek improvements.
