Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Trade Development Manager to join the Commercial department, overseeing the North Mediterranean Trade department on behalf of the Trade Manager. This role includes day-to-day supervision of the team with an emphasis on leading, motivating and developing the team. You will manage your own workload and ensure the team is motivated, trained and engaged at all times to provide excellent service. Maintain excellent communication with other parts of the business and MSC Geneva.

What you will help us do
- Support the Trade Development Manager to maximise growth opportunities for the Trade
- Organise and hold one-to-one meetings and team meetings
- Define & review individual performance contracts in line with MSC standards
- Develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours of team members
- Build close relationships with origin agents and MSC Geneva Liners
- Maintain a close working relationship with other parts of the business on behalf of the dept.
- Assist with reports, statistics, analysis and market research
- Ensure training and competency plans are in place for each member of staff and monitor in line with performance development reviews
