Become a Customer Service Apprentice within our fast-paced Customer Service team to learn and grow the skills that you need to realise your potential. From experience working a full-time role in the largest global organisation in the industry to gaining real-life experience and a recognised qualification, an apprenticeship with MSC really is the way forwards.
The successful candidate will be trained to provide excellent customer service and complete effective administration of all required tasks while working in a busy and investigative environment. This 18-month programme gives you the skills and knowledge within MSC to build a foundation for the career that you want. Skills and experience you’ll bring to us:
We are looking for people who are passionate about providing high-level customer service and wanting to start their career in this area. It is important that you are a team player, great listener and communicator as this is what our Customer Service team is all about. You will need to be self-motivated, a problem solver and have enthusiasm to learn and develop in your career. We believe the successful Customer Service Apprentice should have the following personal qualities:

Applicants should hold a good level of English and Maths (GCSE 4 or above; Functional Skills L2) and have a basic understanding of Microsoft Office and Outlook. Preferred applicants will hold previous relevant professional experience, but this is not a requirement.
What you can expect:
During your apprenticeship at MSC, you will rotate amongst 6/8 Customer Service Teams and become a member of the team in specially selected areas. You will be given a mentor from MSC Customer Services who will meet with you regularly. You will gain extensive skills and experience whilst completing your Apprenticeship. You’ll be supporting the wider team and business with day-to-day activities, providing a valuable experience for our customers, completing tasks with a variety of skillsets.
In the apprenticeship, you will also participate in:
- Handling customer queries in a professional manner & ensuring timely resolution.
- Processing data accurately in a timely manner ensuring that processes and procedures are followed.
- Maintaining information on internal systems.
- Providing support to the customer service teams as required.
- Meeting targets as specified.
- Building relationships with teams throughout MSC.

Applications will initially be reviewed as part of a shortlisting process. Candidates who are successful at this stage will be invited to progress through the following steps:
- An initial Microsoft Teams interview, expected to take place at the end of June 2026.
- A selection day held at MSC Head Office on Monday 13th or Wednesday 15th July 2026.
