As the Stores & Inventory Manager, you will be the face of MSC on our customer’s site, with responsibility overseeing the daily operations within the Inventory Solution(s). Ensuring successful management of all stock processes, providing excellent customer experience to end users, and effectively managing onsite inventory, including lineside vending replenishment and general stores management.

What will you be doing?

  • Working directly with end users to ensure they have the right product when they need it.
  • Effective management of inventory within the General Stores including min/max levels, product distribution to end users, and replenishment.
  • Analyse data sets to identify trends of product usage and stock holding.
  • Build relationships with end users to gain insight into changes to stock demand.
  • Provide excellent customer experience to onsite end users of stores and MSC product.
  • Work with suppliers and internal MSC teams to expedite products within the quoted lead times.
  • Using your knowledge of processes within the customer, identify cost and time saving opportunities and elevate in an effective, timely manner to your colleagues.
  • Maintenance of stores, their appearance and cleanliness.
  • Regular stock takes and solution system maintenance.
  • Maintain an up-to-date product portfolio within the stores and vending solution.
  • Be an onsite point of contact to customers for everyday queries.
  • Have a sales mindset, continually looking out for new business opportunities to feed into the relevant teams.
  • Demonstrate the ability to take accountability and ownership, be a strong collaborator, a decision maker, be organised and influential.
