Due to expansion, they are currently hiring a Technical Sales Engineer to cover the Midlands region.

The Role

This is a field-based sales opportunity covering the Midlands area. They are looking for candidates to be based anywhere within the Midlands. You must have a driving license and a Mechanical Engineering/ Production/ Manufacturing degree or apprenticeship related education background. You will be representing their range of cutting tools to manufacturing customers in a variety of industries including Aerospace, Automotive and Oil & Gas. This is an exciting role that involves lots of face-to-face customer interaction. When you aren't out meeting clients, you will be spending time in their Wednesbury office and working from home.

Role responsibilities:

  • Changing customer expectations of what Technical Solutions looks like, e.g. Process improvements, Lean principles, Tooling consolidation and rationalisation.
  • Proactively support and grow existing consignment customers in your territory.
  • Be an integral part of new business wins, leading the conversation with our Metal Working offering.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Internal/External sales teams and business development to grow territory.
  • Develop key relationships with strategic suppliers to support regional growth plans.
  • Promote and sell MSC's product range to achieve growth targets.

Requirements for this role:

  • Full, clean UK driving license.
  • Mechanical engineering / production / manufacturing related degree or apprenticeship.

Salary and Benefits Package:

  • Basic salary - £35,000
