We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Procurement Specialist to join our growing procurement division here in our UK Technical Head office. In line with MSC Cruises' strategic category goals, the Procurement Specialist supports technical procurement by providing comprehensive data analysis, reporting, supplier management, and workflow coordination to ensure efficient and effective procurement operations.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develops and maintains procurement reports and dashboards.
- Contacts suppliers to gather data and manage procurement-related queries.
- Manages the procurement database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Organizes procurement workflows to make processes more efficient.
- Organizes agendas for business review meetings and activities.
- Supervises the management of product codes to ensure precise categorization, timely update and effective tracking.
- Implements and monitors the business engagement plan for procurement activities.
- Analyses procurement data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborates with the technical team to support procurement initiatives.
- Ensures compliance with MSC Cruises' procurement policies and procedures.
Language Skills:
- Fluent in English, additional languages are a plus but not essential.
Education/Specific Studies or Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Level of Experience:
- 1-3 years of experience in procurement, data analysis, or a similar role.
- Experience in managing and maintaining large, complex databases, data accuracy and integrity.
PC Skills:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; SAP, experience with procurement software and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is a plus.
