Overview

The IT Cost and Contracts Specialist supports the MSC Cruise Management function with cost and spend management for supplier contracts, and liaises with procurement for operational, capital cost and newbuilding owner supply spending needs.

Responsibilities

  • Manages Purchase Order requirements, including receipts and invoicing support
  • Conducts current spend analysis and reporting on demand, month ends, quarterly and annual forecasts
  • Maintains service contracts
  • Works closely with business cost management stakeholders (e.g., Procurement teams, Legal department, project leaders, etc.)
  • Adheres to critical financial reporting calendar dates

Qualifications

  • A-Level or similar education essential
  • Fluent in both spoken and written English; Italian language skills desirable
  • Experience of procurement business processes and systems
  • Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, macros, etc.)
  • Resilient personality, able to meet stretching and shifting deadlines with an eye for detail
  • Experience using SAP (our future Corporate finance system) is preferable
