This role is not for everyone. There is a particular kind of operational work that almost nobody talks about properly. It is the work of making something complex run beautifully without anyone noticing it is running at all. Catching the small thing on a Tuesday afternoon that nobody else would have caught. Fixing it before it becomes the big thing on Wednesday. Holding the detail. Most organisations do not know how to value this work. They say they do, in the same way they say they value culture or wellbeing or learning, and then they put the budget somewhere else. The people who do this work are often the most capable in the building, doing more than they were asked to do. They notice everything. We are looking for one of those people.

Who we are: MSB is a coaching and coach education practice working with leaders in international schools. Born in 2017, and now a core team of seven, plus twenty-eight accredited coaches across six continents. Approaching £1 million in revenue, growing deliberately. Some clients include Nord Anglia Education, GEMS, ESF, Taaleem, Haileybury Almaty, and ICS Madrid. Coach education NPS of 100. 450+ leaders coached, in 120+ schools. Pursuing B Corp certification. We exist to celebrate humanity in education. Schools become extraordinary when the people leading them have space to think clearly, with honest support and genuine challenge. Our values are Integrity, Conversation, Adventure. We do what we say we will do, and we are honest when we cannot. We name things rather than absorbing them. We lean into the unknown, celebrate the attempt as well as the outcome, and refuse to mistake safety for quality.

What you will be doing: You will sit alongside the Head of Operations and run the operational life of the business. The remit is broad and no two weeks will look the same.

  • Programme delivery: Setting up programmes in Scoro, managing delegate registers, tracking coaching engagements, coordinating across our network of associate coaches.
  • Data and reporting: Keeping HubSpot and Scoro clean, current, and useful. Feeding the impact reporting that demonstrates value to clients.
  • Learning platform support: Working alongside our Head of Learning on the operational side of coach education: delegate access, content production, programme logistics.
  • Internal ops administration: Process documentation, finance and HR administration, intranet building, implementing new workflows under the direction of the Head of Operations. As MSB builds towards B Corp and Cyber Essentials, you will contribute to the operational groundwork that makes both real.
  • Client and coach communications: Becoming the operational point of contact that coaches, delegates, and clients turn to first.

Who we think you are: You are drawn to tools, and you use them: You have a take on which SaaS products are well-built and which are not. You have probably automated something in your personal life that did not need automating, just because you wanted to see if you could. You use AI daily, beyond the experimental. When you find a slow process, you cannot quite leave it alone. You have an eye for quality and detail: You notice when something looks right and when it does not. You care about the visual and written craft of what you put into the world. You edit your own emails twice before sending them. This matters to you in a way that some of your colleagues do not entirely understand. You are curious about coaching: Maybe you have done a short course, or read something that stayed with you, or simply experienced what it is like to be properly listened to; the kind of listening that changes how you hear yourself, the conversations that leave you more yourself than you started.

What you bring on day one: Experience in an operational support, coordination, or executive support role, ideally in a professional services SME. Strong written communication: clear, accurate, adaptable across registers. Comfort across CRM, project management, spreadsheets, and learning platforms. Use of AI and the wider toolset that makes a small business run. Some experience supporting finance or HR administration. A bachelor's degree in any subject or at least 5 years equivalent workplace experience. The right to work in the UK (we cannot sponsor visas for this role).

Helpful but not essential: Hands-on experience with HubSpot or Scoro. A coaching qualification, or genuine interest in pursuing one. Experience in education, leadership development, or a similar field. Experience with B Corp, Cyber Essentials, GDPR, or equivalent compliance work.

If you are missing one or two essentials but recognise yourself in the rest of this, apply anyway. We hire people, not CVs.

How we grow people: The role grows with the business. So does the person doing it. We invest across every dimension that matters. We hire for where people can go, not just where they are today.
