Our Residential Property team is expanding, and we are looking for anexperienced Out of Hours Conveyancer to join in a hybrid working role operating outside normal office hours. Working hours to be agreed on an individual basis but expected to be between the hours of 4pm to 11pm. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Conveyancer to join our Residential Conveyancing team at MSB Solicitors. This is a specialised, non-client-facing role which is focused on the accurate and timely production of Reports on Title for residential properties. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all title documentation is meticulously reviewed, analysed, and reported, providing essential support to our conveyancing team leaders.

Main Purpose of Job:

  • Conduct thorough examinations of title documents, identifying any legal issues or discrepancies.
  • Prepare detailed and accurate Reports on Title, summarising key findings, risks, and recommendations.
  • Highlight any title defects or issues requiring resolution prior to the completion of property transactions.
  • Work closely with other team members to finalise reports for team leader review.
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards and conveyancing procedures.
  • Stay updated with current property law, conveyancing practices, and relevant legal precedents.
  • Conduct legal research to support the analysis of complex title issues.
  • Maintain accurate records of all title examinations and reports.
  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure all relevant information is incorporated into Reports on Title.
  • Provide expert advice and insights to conveyancing solicitors regarding title matters.
  • Collaborate with other non-client-facing team members to improve processes and reporting standards.

About You:

  • Qualified solicitor with experience in residential conveyancing, with a focus on title examination and report production.
  • Strong knowledge of property law, title deeds, leases, and associated legal documentation.
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficient in using conveyancing software and legal research tools.
