Responsibilities:
- Put away all stock deliveries, correctly, recording as SOP.
- Pick all required stock, request via an SOP accurately.
- Keep all shelved stock tidy, and accessible, labelling shelves.
- Be prepared to rotate stock if necessary and any required physical movement of stock.
- All stock in and out must be recorded to the defined process/SOP.
- Take part if required in a monthly stock take audit.
- Be aware of the day’s priorities given by your supervisor.
- Understanding the 7-day turnaround goal when using the laundry run as the dispatch method.
- Always escalate issues that prevent you from achieving your daily goals agreed at the start of your day with your supervisor.
- Be prepared to move sections and complete other work when needed, that you have been trained on, to increase productivity or efficiency.
- Take part in a daily housekeeping check, ensuring all aisles and walkways are kept clear and your area is always safe to walk in and work in.
- Take part in a weekly cleaning exercise in your work area.
- Ensure all equipment used is according to the training given and the specific requirements of the machines being used.
- Complete “Near Hits” for all unsafe acts, resolving if you can, and escalate to the supervisor.
- Receive training needed to perform the job role effectively.
- Be familiar with the driving rounds that you are asked to cover ensuring you understand all instructions given for access to the brigade stations.
- Check and load your own laundry, ensuring you have checked your tray for updates.
- Check your vehicle before setting off on a journey and complete the correct paperwork.
- Always escalate issues that prevent you from achieving the 7-day turnaround goal to a supervisor.
- Maintain your training driving records and update when requested by the business.
- Always leave the vehicle clean.
- Complete “Near Hits” for all unsafe acts, resolving if you can, and escalate to the supervisor.
- Completing off the runs if required.
- If not driving, be adaptable and flexible to work in the service centre if required.
Qualifications:
- Customer focused approach.
- Decision Making.
- Manual Handling of stock and boxes/packaging.
- Attention to detail (accuracy).
- Forklift driving (training given).
- Excellent Time keeping.
- Correctly completing paperwork for both the warehouse and driving roles.
- Ability to work under pressure, and understanding the order of priority.
- Strong communication skills within peer group and with FF’s.
- Acts as a role model for the company.
- Flexible start and end times to working day.
- Flexible with tasks depending on what is needed for the achievement of goals.
Experience Preferred:
- Experience in similar environment.
Education Required:
- O-Level or Equivalent.
- Various Licenses for Order Picker, Forklift and Bendi (training provided).
