Responsibilities:

  • The role is integral to the correct start and end of the laundry process, contributing to the overall MSA customer experience.
  • Work alongside service colleagues to ensure laundry is returned to brigades within the agreed 7-day turnaround objective.
  • Strive to get it right first time, maintain a positive approach towards others, and uphold MSA’s core behaviour values.
  • Be familiar with the driving round and all instructions for access to brigade stations.
  • Check and load your own laundry, ensuring updates are checked.
  • Inspect your vehicle before setting off and complete the correct paperwork.
  • Understand the 7-day turnaround process goal and the delivery day order of work.
  • Elevate issues that prevent achieving the 7-day turnaround goal to a supervisor.
  • Maintain training driving records and update when requested.
  • Complete a weekly cleaning exercise of the van you are driving.
  • Ensure all equipment used is according to training and specific machine requirements.
  • Complete “Near Hits” for all unsafe acts, resolving if possible, and elevate to the supervisor.
  • Condition Coding to the company’s requirements and processes.
  • Complete off the runs if required.
  • If not driving, be adaptable and flexible to work in the service center as needed.
